Filming and editing are passions of mine. I love it so much there isn’t anything I don’t enjoy filming. This means I am as comfortable filming hot furnaces in factories that reach a couple thousand degrees Farenheit as I am filming love stories and couples exchanging vows on a Saturday afternoon. Through video productions I have met and experienced many exciting people and their businesses. I feel charmed being part of peoples lives in such an crucial way. Creating for them a medium to deliver their message to the world (or their target audience). I edit with a powerful edit suite using Adobe Premiere CS4 which enables me to produce videos that capture clients ideas and stirs emotions – moving people to react! I have been awarded various award Certificates from the National Television & Video Association for productions ranging from a music video for “The Finkelstiens” (South African - punk rock band), educational “Anti-Litter Campaign” video in 3 languages for the Port Elizabeth Metropole and a Wedding production. With formal training from the Port Elizabeth Technikon in Camera Techniques, participation up to Chair level of the National Television & Video Association Chapter in Port Elizabeth and more importantly the practical experience I have gained in the field that gives me the confidence to take on client’s projects. As a producer I bring to projects skills learnt in my managerial capacity such as project enagement, budgeting and communication. My organisational skills will keep your production on track on budget on time.

I have been in the printing and imaging industry since the early ‘80’s. For a short time I left to qualify as an electrician but returned to photolithography working for Johnic Publishing as a digital scanner and image manipulator. It was after Jenny started VIP that I was able to complete a full time course in Digital Publishing. My extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop gives my photography its distinction and creates uniqueness for my clients’ prints. It is truly amazing to have experienced the progression from the darkroom to the digital age of photography. Through my work I have met and photographed many interesting people (including Thabo Mbeki – South African president), been part of many exciting events (Fedics Food Services Guinness Book of World Records attempt at biggest Fish & Chips) and been part of many people’s precious memories. I have a straightforward, easygoing approach with people, which help them relax and enjoy being photographed. look forward to seeing you soon.
